Tire Maintenance Guidelines

Tires are ground-engaging, rolling, doughnut-shaped elastic rubber wheels mounted on various vehicles and machinery. They are typically mounted on metal rims, supporting the vehicle's body, cushioning external impacts, ensuring contact with the road, and ensuring vehicle performance. Tires are often used under complex and harsh conditions. When driving, they are subjected to various deformations, loads, forces, high and low temperature effects. Therefore, they need to have high load-bearing, traction and cushioning capabilities. It has high wear resistance and flexibility resistance, low rolling resistance and heat generation. Half of the world's rubber consumption is used in tire production, demonstrating the tire's ability to utilize rubber.

To ensure tire performance, how should tires be maintained regularly?

Check wheel alignment and balance regularly. If you find that the vehicle shakes excessively while driving, it means that the wheels are poorly aligned or unbalanced. It will not only shorten the life of the tire, affect the vehicle's handling, and endanger driving safety. If your tires are wearing unevenly, such as if the shoulders of the tires are wearing faster than other parts of the tread, you can try rotating the tires. Align the front and rear wheels alternately: rotate the front left wheel to the rear right wheel, and vice versa.

When changing tires, the specifications, structure, brand and pattern of the tires on the same axle are unified. If you replace a tire separately, ensure that the tread groove depth is basically the same as that of the other tire on the same axle, otherwise the vehicle may deviate.
